THE TIMBERS AT TROY
The Timbers is set up for all
skill levels. We have five sets
of tee markers that make it
a fair test of golf. Bentgrass
tees, greens and fairways,
common at only the finest
clubs and resorts, highlight
this Howard County golf
course. While rare for a D.C.
area public golf course, this
is what makes The Timbers
at Troy experience so
memorable. We are open to
the public, have a full-service
clubhouse with a grill and
tap room, driving range and
practice range. You can also
take lessons here to sharpen
your game. Our Players Club
membership offers extended
services and discounts.

WAVERLY WOODS GOLF CLUB
Waverly Woods is a
championship course
that golfers of all abilities
can appreciate. We offer
expansive areas where you
can drive the ball, and then
we test the better players as
they get closer to the hole.
Skilled players will need to
think their way around the
course. As the greens get
faster, they get tougher.
New at Waverly Woods is
our veranda overlooking the
18th hole and our renovated
practice facility, including new
bunkers in the pitching and
chipping grounds, as well
as thriving Bermuda grass
on the practice ground.

WILLOW SPRINGS
GOLF COURSE
Willow Springs is a mid-
length, par 62 links-style
course that has that Scottish
“feel,” with mounding,
deep greenside bunkering
and our “love grass”
surrounding nearly every
hole. In designing the
course, architect Al Janis
wanted a course that would
be both visually appealing
and provide a challenge to
all levels of golfer. Willow
Springs has a lighted driving
range with multiple target
greens long enough to hit
any club in your bag.

Turf Valley has something for
every level of player. The two

are different types with
different layouts. One course
is long and wide open; the
other is shorter and tighter.
We also have excellent
practice facilities, including
a learning center and a 150-
yard short game area, a real

FAIRWAY HILLS GOLF CLUB
The Fairway Hills staff offers
great service to every customer,
whether newcomer or regular.
The driving range provides
good hitting mats and new
clean golf balls, a sand trap
and putting green. The Pro
Shop has all the necessities,
stocking a variety of golf balls,
gloves, shoes, tees and Fairway
Hills-logoed golf shirts. The
Pro Shop also has the best
gourmet hot dogs around,

HOBBIT'S GLEN
Hobbit’s Glen prides itself
on a warm and welcoming
experience, from the driving
range to the Coho Grill
restaurant and bar located in
the all new clubhouse. Playing
just a bit over 7,000 yards
from the back tees and 5,000
from the front, with five sets
of tees to choose from, this
course was built for the Tour
player as well as the player
who is just beginning to fall in
love with the game. Hobbit’s
is fair to the players, with
each hole laid out in front of
you. The driving range is an
incredible place to practice
your game and is open to the
public. With 25 hitting stations
and a huge putting green, one
could get lost here for hours!
