Responsibilities include:
• Generating revenue by retaining current business and developing weekly new business through customer referrals, prospecting, networking, etc.
• Demonstrate a strong knowledge of CMO’s portfolio of publication offerings and be able to differentiate our marketing solutions from the competitor
• Present a multitude of publications to many categories and sizes of businesses
• Prepare and submit proposals
• Keep current advertisers/business up-to-date on new publications and ability to generate leads
• Meet or exceed sales goals established by management
• Provide accurate weeklysales revenue projections
 
Skills:
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
• Must have good time management skills and the ability to handle a multitude of products and deadlines
• Must have strong planning and organizational skillsand excellent customer service
• Must be accountable and reliableand a team player
• Previous Media experience a plus – other sales experience preferred.
•Computer proficient in Microsoft office and internet
